A climate change is a long-term change
in the Earth’s climate. It may be a change in the average weather conditions or
a change in the distribution of weather events. It may be limited to a specific
region or may occur across the whole Earth.
Climate change will affect people
and the environment in many ways. The potential future effects of climate change
are loss of sea ice, accelerated sea level rise and longer, more intense a heat
waves. Climate change is speeding up the cycling of water between the ocean, atmosphere
and land, resulting in intense rainfall and droughts at the same time.
If we don’t act now, climate change will rapidly alter the lands and waters. Many varied solutions have been proposed such as individual frugality, energy conversation measures renewable energy and carbon sequestration.
